For an overview of the issue, you can use the SIRS database and look up Same Sex Marriage.

Lexis Nexis is a great legal database.  In the "Legal Case" box you do not need to know a spcific case number. Go to the bottom search box, ""By Topic" and type in "marriage" or "same-sex marriage" to find legal information on this issue.

Books in the library can be found by going to the library catalog and typing in marriage and legal.  Or click this link.

See this guide on Lexis Nexis for more information.
